Rkatsiteli is the most widely grown white grape variety in Georgia, actively used in traditional winemaking. Rkatsiteli wines are known for their freshness and bright tones of dried fruits. Rkatsiteli is often used to produce amber wines, where the juice is fermented together with the skins and seeds, giving the wine a unique texture and aroma. As a base variety for white wine production, Rkatsiteli excels both as a single varietal and in blends with varieties like Kisi, Khikhvi, or Mtsvane.
