This wine follows the ancient qvevri method, which defines traditional Georgian winemaking. Winemakers ferment the grapes together with skins and stems in large clay vessels called qvevri. They bury these vessels underground to keep the temperature stable and allow slow, natural aging. For this vintage, maceration lasted six months, giving the wine depth, structure, and its rich amber color.

The grapes come from organically cultivated vineyards in the Tsinandali PDO, a protected designation known for its balanced climate and high-altitude terroir.
